Paid Survey Scams
When doing Online Surveys you have to be aware of paid survey scams. There are paid survey sites that are not legitimate.
The sites on my list below have been tested and proven legitimate. When using other sites be sure to check them out as a company. Review their Better Business Bureau rating and look for referrals.
Note: Never use an online survey site where they ask you to pay any money. Stay clear of these types of sites.
Best Online Survey Sites
Online surveys are a free and simple way to make money. The way they work is pretty simple. You sign up for free and you get paid small amounts for giving your opinions on surveys.
When doing surveys your only investment is your time. Each survey will pay out a small amount of money, therefore you must do multiple surveys to build up your cash for the month.
I normally do a few at night when I’m trying to wind down and get ready for bed.
Here is a list of the top safe online survey sites that you can sign up for right now for free. They are all legitimate and free-to-use online survey companies that allow you to make extra money anytime.
Pro Tip: Cashback apps are also a great way to make extra money with their referral programs. You can make money while saving money at the same time.
#1 – Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is an awesome online survey site. Their interface is easy to use making them very user-friendly.
Survey Junkie rewards you with points each time you complete a survey. Most surveys reward you between 50 to 200 points. You must have 1,000 points to achieve the minimum payout of $10.
Accumulating points is super easy and you’ll be able to cash out quickly. There are two payout options. You can choose to get paid cash through PayPal or you can exchange your points for gift cards at your favorite shops.

Making money on the side through surveys sounds like a good idea. Nice write up by the way.
Thank you so much ☺️
Swagbucks is the only one I’d heard of before today. Surveys can be an easy way to earn a little money in your spare time. It’s interesting to compare the different sites.
They really are Tracy. You can do them to help out when you need to make some extra money.
For me, being in the 55 and older crowd, these online surveys don’t want my opinion. Do you have suggestions for survey groups who want the boomer generation? We still spend one heck of a lot of money so you think they’d want our opinions too. Very informative and I shared it with my daughter.
I know exactly what you mean Patti. I’m 46 and I have noticed that it takes me a little longer to find a survey where I qualify. I’ll do some research but I’m sure the majority of the survey sites are completely guided by the advertisers.
Swagbucks is one of my favorites!
Swagbucks is pretty awesome. Very easy to use.
I just clicked the link to all of these! Lol
I’m also a member of all 5!
Survey Savvy is the only one of these I use, but I use several others. I have literally made thousands over the last few years! I often do surveys while watching tv etc. Once you’ve done it for awhile, you tend to get good offers – have done a few special ones that have paid out really well! I get mostly amazon cards, so can order a few “wants” but also get things I need on there as well. Do most of my Christmas shopping on there. Also, I have a few that pay paypal, which is great for ordering gifts online or paying for extras like Netflix.
